Teaching became my desire in 3rd grade. You may ask why did I know I wanted to be a teacher in 3rd grade? If you are like most people, you can describe the worst school year of your life because of a single bad teacher.

That was me in 2nd grade. I got disciplined for "talking" too much. I would often cry before school. I wasn't encouraged or allowed to be who I was.

In my 3rd grade school year, that all changed. I felt like a caterpillar who crawled into a cocoon for shelter away from the reality of my school experience. My 3rd-grade teacher took me under her wing and mentored me with dignity and fun!

I was released, after 3rd grade, to beautifully glide with other free butterflies and serve others who were like me. Serve students who needed someone to believe in them. Someone that could provide different ways to inspire and teach others so that their beautiful rich colors could be seen.

I now have over 37 years of experience teaching K-adult on all ends of the intelligent spectrum. My Bachelor's degree enables me to teach Exceptional Children with a Master's Equivalent filled with unique education classes equipping me with understanding students' learning preferences and incorporating numerous modalities of learning within each lesson.

I have taught in brick-and-mortar schools, and private schools for over 32 years and online now for almost 5 years! I work as a team with my family to bring success with fun into the family.

I uniquely create individualized educational experiences for my students over time together. Some of my Chinese students have had me as their preferred teacher for going on 4 years too!

I invite you to schedule sessions with me. Understand that we will be developing a working relationship in the first few sessions. Once we both understand each other, look out! The world becomes our playground.
