I am a recent graduate of Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University where I received my doctor of pharmacy degree. During my undergraduate study, I served as a general chemistry learning assistant, facilitating student self-directed teaching. And in pharmacy school, I created an educational review presentation on the topic of heart failure for third-year pharmacy students. Moreover, I created an educational brochure to help educate university students about depression and a cardiac medication education brochure for cardiac rehab patients during my experiential rotation. With many courses in pharmacy school, I have developed a specific interest in therapeutics as well as the mechanisms of action and side effects of drugs. In my experience creating pharmacy educational content, I realized that there are many different ways to present the same information, some of which are easier to understand than the others and that with the right resources, students can understand the materials with ease. Hence, I made it my goal to share my knowledge and seek ways to present things that are easy to understand. I strongly believe that learning should be filled with zest.
