Hello! My name is Gabi, and I'm a current student at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm pre-med, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Creative Writing. I'm very passionate about the intersection of the brain with advocacy, as I enjoy writing and learning about how neuroscience affects equity, healthcare, and mental health. While I tutor in a broad range of subjects, I'm most passionate about Biology, English, and test prep. I think that there's a wonderful connection between the STEM and Humanities, in the sense that we cannot fully appreciate STEM without immersing ourselves in humanities subjects, and vice versa. Being a well-rounded student that is ambitious and dedicated to a variety of subjects is highly important, and something I would want to help my students achieve so they can reach their maximum potential. As a tutor, I feel that my approach entirely depends on the students' needs; I like to teach very personalized lessons that are entirely tailored to the students' current comprehension. In my spare time, I love writing, running, and reading; but of course, I also am a firm believer in a healthy work-life balance, and cherish the time with friends and family :)
