Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health. After 10 years of supply chain experience with Campbell Soup Supply Co., I decided my heart was in education. I received my Teaching Certification alternatively through Texas Teachers in 2016. Since certification, I have taught in a Texas public school for the last 6 years. I have a passion for teaching Math, as well as, preparing students to enter the "real world" through teaching a Speech Communications class. I firmly believe that any student, no matter their background, has the ability to accomplish their goals in life with hard work and goals. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching the communication class, is preparing the students for job interviews. Whether it's Math or Communication, I enjoy assessing the current level of a student, and tracking their growth, and seeing them succeed. I love setting goals and crushing them! In my spare time, I enjoying spending time with my family, coaching softball, gardening, relaxing by the water.
