I am going into my 6th year of teaching 5th grade at Norris Elementary School in Omaha, Ne. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in STEM from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and I received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University. My favorite subject to teach is mathematics, I love the challenge of problem solving and hearing multiple strategies students have to solving a variety of problems.

In my free time I love to lounge around with my dog Tucker and catch up on weekly shows. Tucker and I also love going out for walks, car rides to get ice cream and play time at the park. I also enjoy working out and staying physically active as much as possible. Some of my passions outside of teaching include cooking/baking, crafting and home improvement projects.
