Hi, I'm Kelsi! I am currently a student of plant biology at the University of Missouri. I am on track to graduate summa cum laude, and I am passionate about science. I have about a year of experience tutoring ACT prep, and a few months of tutoring biology. My time working as a peer tutor in these areas has given me a great foundation and understanding of flexible teaching methods.
My specialty is ACT prep and AP biology, and I have a great deal of experience taking these tests on my own and improving my scores. When I first took the ACT I scored a 21, but by my third and final exam was able to end with a 33. I completed the AP bio exam with a 5. My experience as a student is what I believe makes me an excellent tutor, as I have been where the student is and understand the challenges.

I am currently studying plant biology at university, so I'm constantly exposed to and learning more about the subject. The ACT science section is one of my strongest tutoring subjects; one of my previous students was able to go from a 23 to a 33 in just one test.

I love reading and English, and am excited about the subjects. I have a plethora of tips and tricks up my sleeve for all levels of students to help them reach their best possible score.
