Certified Tutor

I graduated from Longwood University with a BFA in studio fine craft. My Masters degree was from NYU where I graduated #1 in my class. I have worked for the MoMA , the Met and the Dahesh Museums. My jewelry designs were featured in Vogue and InStyle magazines. I did my doctoral research at the Univ. of GA. I taught in the summer abroad program for them in Cuba teaching multicultural art education. I built the art program for Brunswick Community College in NC from the ground up, bringing Kappa Pi International Art Fraternity to the first community college in the country. I also took 24 students on the college's first study abroad program for museum studies to Paris, Florence, and Rome. I have taught at the Art Institute of Charlotte, Wingate University and Cape Fear Community College. I have been an art teacher/art professor for over 20 years. I helped start a non-profit in NYC called Art Beyond Sight where we taught art to the blind. I have worked all over the world but currently reside at the beach in NC.
