Hola!
I am interested in helping you learn Spanish because of its importance in the world today. I am from Mexico and I graduated from The University of New Orleans and I have a master's degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I am a licensed K-12 teacher of Spanish and I have taught for 20+ years and at all levels, having worked with students as young as 5 years-old to adult learners in college.
I endeavor to include a variety of tasks that engage my students and make them active participants in their own learning process. I also try to incorporate students' individual needs, interests and learning styles into the material that we are learning. The relationship I create with my students is a key factor in making tutoring sessions an enriching and learning experience for me and my students. I enjoy cooking, reading and watching good TV shows. I am also passionate about my work and traveling and learning about other cultures.
