I am a graduate of Oregon State University, where I obtained a Batchelor of Science in Animal Science, with a focus on reproductive physiology and animal husbandry. I duel minored in Rangeland Science and Chemistry. I am passionate about the life sciences, and enjoy helping students learn about topics in a way that will make sense to them and help them remember. I also work as a freelance photographer and artist on top of running my own business and working as a large animal veterinary assistant. I especially love watercolor painting and drawing.

I am a mother and wife, and also share my home with our corgis. I love spending time training and competing with my dogs, spending time with my family, gardening, keeping chickens and honeybees, painting, drawing, and photography. My husband and I also love hiking and camping together whenever we can. I have a passion for photography and watercolor painting, and can usually be found either out with the animals or working on some sort of art project.
