I was born and raised in the USA, in a small town in the state of Indiana. The state is known for its nice people and beautiful countryside. I have traveled to a number of countries and enjoy learning and understanding people and their cultures. I believe that our differences make us strong and our diversity is what makes us interesting.

I am married to an AMAZING Brazilian (she teaches English AND Portuguese too), which gives me an even deeper understanding into the fascinating differences between people and culture.

~Me as a Teacher~

I have a degree in Music Education, minor in musical theater, a 300 hour TEFL Course (CELTA equivalent), experience in teaching English over the past two years, and a desire for others to enjoy the language learning process.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and consistent. I also believe that patents is key to unlocking language, and the fascinating cultures behind it.

Language is a journey of discovery and adventure and I look forward to meeting you on it.

~My lessons and teaching style~

I believe that learning involves different learning processes and should be engaging and fun. The learning process must also be flexible, in order to be the most beneficial. Online resources are always growing and changing and many build strategically on each other to reenforce what you have learned while engaging in new content. I find these to be "gold" in the English learning process.

I enjoy interesting and different activities that involve doing things that we were not made to do but that we have been given the brain to create and build. For example, scuba diving, boating, and flying.
