I am a graduate of Concordia University (Montreal), and Trinity College Dublin. I hold a B.A. in English and Creative Writing, a M.Phil. in Children's Literature, and am working towards a M.S.Ed. in Reading, Writing, and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. I have worked in the School District of Philadelphia as a student teacher in a variety of contexts, including elementary and high school settings. My favorite topic to tutor is English and Essay Writing. I approach writing as a form of inquiry, since when we write, we examine assumptions, pose questions, and imagine alternate worlds. Whether offering English language support to elementary school students, or helping high school students with college application essays, I appreciate the whole journey. It is truly an honor to be part of students' unique learning journeys, and to support each student as they develop confidence, find enjoyment and experience success in their critical and creative educational pursuits.
