Jazmine: Victoria tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Universidad Madero, in Puebla Mexico. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Education. Then I went for my master at Dallas Theological Seminary, where I graduated in Theology and Educational Leadership. In the last 10 years, I have had a good amount of enriching experiences, such as tutoring refugee students in Texas, teaching Spanish in an urban K-12th school (as I am a certified Spanish teacher & IB certified teacher), and have done some traveling to Latin America and West Africa to do teachers training, and college education. While I teach/tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, Literature, Art, Reading, English, and encouraging students to improve their organizational skills. In my experience tutoring and teaching students, we always seem to have the most fun, while staying focused and advancing in our work. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, as I have experienced it in my own, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, going to art museums/galleries, reading and spending time with my friends.
