As a private tutor, I especially enjoy helping students write college and graduate school applications. (One of my students was accepted to Harvard.) I also enjoy helping with resumes and preparing for job interviews. After completing my MBA at Bushnell University, I was invited to return to teach as an Associate Professor, I taught communication, writing, presentation skills, and a myriad of other business classes.
I believe in a positive approach to teaching, i.e., we find your strengths and use them to help you achieve your goals. Once you discover your strengths, you can use them to improve the quality of all aspects of your life.

Hobbies

I enjoy reading, writing, and doing almost anything outdoors. Living in Colorado allows nearly year-round access to exciting and fun things to do, which includes hiking in the Rocky Mountains with my dog, PJ. As a former triathlete, I still love swimming, biking, and running. For ten years I owned a bakery and restaurant. I still love to bake. During the holidays I taught how to make a gingerbread house and I still teach bread baking.
