I am a middle and high school English teacher, with both an English degree and a separate Secondary Level Teaching degree, which led to my certification. I have taught English classes for over fifteen years, including: reading, advanced composition, language arts, creative writing, adult literacy, and college preparation, journalism, and career/technical writing. I have taught at both private and public schools in Tennessee, Nevada, and Maryland. I have professionally tutored grades K-12 and adult learners for a combined eight years.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading and writing books (especially nonfiction texts). Formerly, I studied architecture and fashion design and still have interests in these areas. I love going to any activities related to the arts: from museums to the theater, and all in between. I also have impressive collections of Wonder Woman memorabilia and sneakers.
