Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with certificates in African Studies and Public Policy. I also am TEFL certified through Maximo Nivel and am a lover of language learning. As an International Studies major, I have traveled to over 13 countries and participated in four study abroad programs; making connections with people of different walks of life is a strong value of mine. I have worked with many K-12 students through various programs, as I tutor various aspects of English Reading and Writing and the Spanish Language. I am currently pursuing my NY state teaching license as I am teaching a first-grade class. When working with students, it's important to me to understand the student's learning style and relationship with the subject to make learning goals attainable and make learning fun! In my free time, I love to travel, try new recipes, and bike!
