I am a three time graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Environmental Studies and two graduate degrees in Higher Education. I recently earned my EdD in May of 2015. During my time at Florida State, I was able to take advantage of international educational opportunities including earning a minor in Spanish in Costa Rica and taking part in a student exchange program in Jamaica. I speak advanced Spanish and try to work on growing this capability every day. My prior positions include work in academic affairs, student affairs, and nonprofit development. I loved helping students navigate the college setting and find their own passion. I started teaching English as a foreign language in 2017 and fell in love with it. I've also tutored to the General Knowledge exam and found great gratification when my students passed! My belief is that an investment in a student is an investment in future generations and wonderful way to change the world.
