Certified Tutor

Ever since I first visited Europe as a teenager, I've been fascinated by world cultures. Teaching has allowed me to live and work all over the world: Finland, France, England, Ireland, Israel, and all over the United States of America.

I hold a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and hold both a certificate and a diploma as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language.

I know, through over 30 years of teaching experience, that absolutely everyone can learn something--but only if they are engaged in the subject. Thus, I've spent my career researching student learning styles and methods teachers can use to engage students of all kinds. Connecting with students through the joy of sharing and exchanging knowledge is what has kept me going throughout my entire career.

In my free time, I watch too much TV, spend too much time baking sweet things for my husband and me, and lots of time feeding the birds outside my home office window!
