Certified Tutor

I love to help students in any way that I can, which is why I am here! I believe that students need to be fostered to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I believe that each part works with each other and should be all a part of the learning process.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in History this May from Northern Michigan University.
I have tutored students in English during summer school, and have done more work recently in the public school setting.
I love to tutor anything regarding ELA, but find the most joy in teaching reading. I find that teaching reading helps students in many other subject areas, which is why I like it the most.
Outside of academia, I enjoy dancing, listening to music, playing video games, and adventuring the outdoors.
