I have been a Professional Educator for many years. I have worked with all ages, including adult learners. My main passion is working with Middle School aged students. My belief is that anyone can learn, regardless of how they think of themselves as learners. Most often, students/learners don't see themselves as learners. I can change that view of themselves and create the joy of lifelong learning.

I love reading!! I love teaching middle school! I love learning about everything. I have a new dog, which keeps me busy! And, I have grandchildren that I adore!!! I'm also very interested and active in learning more about diversity, equity and inclusion as it pertains to our educational system. I have many skills in teaching phonics -teaching the sound of each consonant and vowel explicitly. Students and English language learners are not able to learn how to read , unless they understand the rules of each consonant and vowel sound.
