I love learning and I love to inspire kids to get excited about learning! I have a degree in Psychology and I am certified to teach both English and English as a Second Language. I have been teaching for fourteen years. I taught middle school English, Reading, and Creative Writing in the public school system for eight years and I have been homeschooling my two daughters for six years.

My writing has been featured in Seeing the Everyday magazine. I also teach English as a Second Language online.

My goal is to offer tutoring that is helpful, encouraging, and fun! I can't wait to meet your child!

When I am not teaching, I love to read, write, research best practices of teaching, crochet, play board games with my family, and take family vacations to learn more about nature, science, and history. I am also learning how to draw by taking online art classes myself!
