Hola, I'm Yvonne! I am a native from the Dominican Republic where I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a Master in Business Administration. I've been working as a Business System Analyst/Project Manager at a well known Bank institution here in Columbus, Ohio for almost 12 years where I have held different roles which includes in the areas of Bilingual Customer Service, Quality Control, managing translations of extensive legal documents in Spanish, recording voice messages for their automated system and Spanish Data speech Analytics .

Previously, I served as an Early childhood teacher for pre-schoolers and School age children for almost 5 years where I was able to introduce and incorporate the Spanish language in their curriculum and also obtained a certification in Early Childhood Education! I've always been passionate about children and Education and my mission is that every child succeeds and feels proud of their accomplishments.

I have tutored several children over the years and have helped them succeed in Spanish. I have also served at different churches in their children's ministry during missionary efforts, teaching, distributing food and medical supplies to less fortunate kids in efforts to reduce hunger in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

I'm very patient and caring and can help your child with homework assignments and projects in addition to basic Spanish skills or even technology. Kids say I'm kind and fun to be around :)

practical learning method!
