Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Painting with a focus on oils. After graduation, I joined AmeriCorps and spent time in West Virginia working in an educational museum setting with both children and adults. I then pursued further education and obtained certification in Art Education, covering pre-K through adult levels.

Over the past decade, I have taught high school visual arts in West Virginia, Ohio, and New York. In 2017, I relocated to New Jersey, where I continue to teach and practice painting. Recently, I began offering live event painting services, creating unique oil paintings for couples at their weddings. My artistic passions extend beyond painting and drawing to include printmaking and collage as alternative mediums.

At my previous school, I spearheaded the AP Art program, where I relished the opportunity to provide personalized guidance for students' portfolios. In my spare time, I enjoy solving the NY Times Sunday crossword puzzles and traveling with my family.
