I am passionate about helping youth realize and fulfill their potential via education, and aim to foster a safe environment for them to ask questions. I look forward to meeting new students via Varsity Tutors to continue this work and help them discover their own talents.
I am working on my Master's in Rhetoric at Carnegie Mellon University, where I will commence my PhD this fall. Before coming to Pittsburgh, I graduated from Kent State University, from which I received a degree in English with a concentration in professional writing and a minor in media literacy, in the spring of 2021. While at Kent State, I tutored at the Writing commons for three years, mentoring fellow tutors my junior year and working as a manager my senior year. I then served with City Year, a branch of AmeriCorps that serves school districts across 29 cities, tutoring seventh graders in math and English.
