Certified Tutor

I graduated at the top of my class with honors from both Grand Canyon University and Northern Arizona University. I currently possess a Master of Science in Leadership emphasizing Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Grand Canyon University. I have a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies in Intelligence Studies from Northern Arizona University. As someone who has been blessed with a great gift of knowledge, I know that it's only right to share it with others. I am passionate about enabling students to reach their full intellectual and academic potential.

As a minister (as a catechist) in the Roman Catholic Church, I have the honor of instructing high school students. My favorite subject to tutor is religious studies. In this regard I am something like a shell answer woman in many key areas. Father Robert Spitzer is a role model to me as a minister and a scholar. He is a wonderful scholar and could be very intimidating because of his great intellectual gifts if he wanted to be. Yet I can hear and see the compassion with which he treats each person's salvation and each one who comes to him as a catechist. Inspired by him, I use the same approach in teaching/tutoring. I have many years of experience as a top student. This enables me to pass on proven work/study strategies. I can help you more easily breakdown the fundamentals of core and specialty subjects. As a teacher I like to find ways to breakdown complicated ideas and make them easier to understand. Being a catechist in the Church enables me to teach religious studies and gives me the opportunity to teach a subject I am passionate about.

I tutor, intermediate algebra, math, theology, religious studies, and social studies at Varsity Tutors. My philosophy when it comes to tutoring is that the tutor is a servant leader who enables the student to reach his or her full potential.

Outside of academia I like to watch classic and worthy movies, play golf, and explore the human condition.

I plan to acquire two more degrees. First, I aim to earn a degree qualifying me as a Doctor of Sacred Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Doctor) (STD) from a Vatican approved university. Additionally, I also intend to gradually work on another doctorate degree focused on specific secular subjects that I am interested in. My ultimate goal is to have these degrees paid for and finished by 2028.
