Certified Tutor

I am a native French speaking tutor, certified life coach and artist born in Montral
Qubec. I obtained a master's degree in art, theater and communication cum laude from
UQAM after completing a bachelor in environmental biology at McGill university. Always
inspired by the richness of interdisciplinary studies, I continued my education in both
languages, weaving connections between disciplines deepening my understanding for the
connections between the natural world, somatic education, expressive arts and
mindfulness.
Growing up in a bilingual environment, I was very fortunate to learn French and English at
the very same time. As a child, I remember confusing and mixing languages in one breath
often having to resort to charade like gestures in order to communicate with my friends.
Today, the memory makes me smile as it puts me right back in the shoes of my students
with the added benefit of years of experience in experiential learning and education.
In these sessions it is about learning and developing new skills through a relaxed state.
Encouraging students to take creative risks while learning French, I help them find their
voice so they can make the leap to a more spontaneous and fluid level of conversation.
What do I love the most about tutoring and coaching through creative means? Always it is
the discovery of each student's passions and goals and being a part of the unfolding. At
the end of the day, seeing them come alive with curiosity, resilience, confidence and the
grit to keep growing makes me smile again and again as I look ahead at a road full of
unknown potentials...
