My love for learning and supporting children through their learning has always been important to me. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston, Where I received my bachelors of arts. Since graduation I have been working with young children in the field of early childhood education. This is where I had the chance to give children a strong start in their academic career . Providing learning instruction for students from all walks of life help me to understand different learning styles much more. I am a firm believer that the earlier years of a child's life are very important for academic success and their future. Teaching them important concepts early helps build a strong foundation for learning later. I've also volunteered as a counselor and now Director of a youth group in my church with ages ranging from 10 years to 15 years. With this group I have the opportunity to instruct them in various activities concerning survival techniques and nature study and outdoor living. In my spare time I enjoy drawing, spending time with my family, cooking with my mother and daughter, running do various arts and craft projects and camping when the opportunity's arise.
