Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of East Stroudsburg University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on Criminal Justice and my Master of Education Degree and Certification in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for over 25 years, most of those years were spent teaching 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. I have recently become a caregiver for my parents. My dad has dementia and my mom has Alzheimer's. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Reading, Science and writing. In my classroom I worked very hard to make sure the students were engaged and enjoyed learning. I believe that every student is an individual and education is not one size fits all. I am passionate about teaching, and love to be creative and have fun while learning. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and dogs, walking and playing soccer. I'm a huge Star Wars fan too.
