I am a graduate of Emory and Henry College (BA-Social Sciences) and from Liberty University (Masters and EdD in Education). I have been in public education for 27 years, much of the time spent teaching History, Geography and Government. My passion is to help students understand more than just the facts associated with Social Studies courses. I want them to know why the information is important and how knowing this information will benefit them in their lives.

In my free time, I enjoy reading about history and watching YouTube videos on topics that I am most interested in at the moment.
