I am a hardworking and dedicated educator with 8 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I have always had a passion for teaching and learning, and it is one of my greatest pleasures in life to be able to share my knowledge and empower students to be great thinkers. I have worked with students of all ages, and my favorite subjects to teach are art, German, and writing. In these disciplines, you really get to see a student's creativity and voice. I have a BFA in Art and Visual Culture Education and a BA in German Studies from the University of Arizona. My professional background is in museum education, but I have tutored many subjects, and I have an extensive history of online teaching. As a tutor, I am here to assist you and give you tools to help you succeed. I use an inquiry-based approach, aiming not to lead you to every answer, but to inspire critical thinking and to give you the support you need to get there on your own. I meet every student with patience and compassion, always with the idea that we are on the same team working toward the same goal. Outside of academics, I am a bookworm and an avid consumer of movies and TV. I also love to read comic books and write my own stories. I am an artist, and I mainly like to paint and draw. Finally, I have a little garden that I tend to every day, and I harvest my herbs to make teas and natural medicines. Education is my passion, and I would be honored to help you achieve your learning goals.
