I am currently a junior at the University of Arizona, pursuing a bachelor's degree in journalism and Spanish literature. After graduation, I plan to earn my master's in investigative journalism from Arizona State University. Last year, I worked at C.A.T.S. Academics, a tutoring center for UA athletes, where I helped students struggling with English composition and Spanish courses. Though I enjoy tutoring students in writing classes, I am most passionate about Spanish and have studied the language for nearly nine years. I am a firm believer that with the right instructor and plenty of hands-on practice, anyone can learn a foreign language. In my free time, I enjoy reading (yes, I am a proud, self-proclaimed nerd), writing, and spending time with friends.
