I am passionate about providing ESL (English as a Secondary Language) instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds. I understand the impact the English language has on the world. English has become the universal language of conducting business and also even obtaining employment, no matter where one lives as many companies are global. I want to contribute to students, of all ages, education who may find areas of English rather challenging. I have experience working with students in various countries and range in the ages of five to adult ages (including the age group of students who are retired). My specialties are instructing students in the areas of accuracy in pronunciation, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and sentence structure. I also enjoy facilitating Business English Communication learning sessions for adults who are getting acclimated to Western culture and the English idioms that are commonly used in the Western Business World as well as the appropriate English idioms used.

Instructional aids that have worked best for my class sessions are puppets (for children) and whiteboards (for all ages). I utilize phonetical expressions, e.g., apple pronounced as [a] + [pl] and I believe in the power of repetition to help with remembering vocabulary words and the spelling of words.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from Rutgers University. I am also an ESL Instructor. I am certified in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) instruction as well as TESOL (Teaching English as a Secondary Language) instruction.
