Certified Tutor

I am a sophomore Pre-Med Public Health major at the University of Texas at Austin. My interests include my faith, cooking, any type of dancing from ballet to hula, playing the ukulele, and karaoke jam sessions with the family. My previous leadership experience consists of being a 2020 O'Connor High School Math and Science Tutor, a Dance Teaching Assistant during my high school years, and I am currently a High School Young Life Leader where I get to know high school girls and be a mentor and friend to them. I really appreciate having relationships with people which I developed from having a tight-knit relationship with my family especially my siblings. My 16-year-old sister and 10-year-old brother have taught me great patience with working with kids and just loving them in general. Being pre-med, I really appreciate the importance of having a good education and I have definitely learned tricks to help with math and science courses which I would love to share with you! My philosophy for tutoring is to keep an open mind when educating because every student learns differently and I want to do what's best for each individual student. When students are struggling it's easy for them to become stressed so I keep my tutoring sessions stress-free and as joyful as they can be! I am here to help!
