I believe in the limitless capacity for all students to learn. I have taught in the college classroom and conducted social science research for 15 years. My Ph.D. is in Communication from the University of California Santa Barbara (a quantitative, social science focused program). While I have had several areas of interest, my deepest focus has been on teaching and learning. I have spent 10 years helping students become better learners, and instructors become better teachers.
