I am a Boston College graduate with a major in Business and minor in English. I worked for a few years as a management consultant before pivoting to pursue writing and teaching. I love to teach and mentor students, particularly those who are high school-aged, to help strengthen their academic muscles and build confidence in their abilities to excel inside, and outside, the classroom. As a full IB Diploma holder, I understand the rigor of academia and am intimately familiar with ways to approach it successfully, from mastering subject material to time management methods. I am here to help students through an empathy-driven, holistic tutoring approach that involves getting to know students' strengths and areas for improvement, personalities, schedules and potential stressors outside of the classroom, as well as providing tips for balancing academic work with other activities.

My experience includes mentoring and tutoring essay writing, English language, and college preparation to students from a diverse array of backgrounds, from future first-generation college students to those in NGO schools in impoverished areas of India. Outside of academia, I have worked as a management consultant and at a startup. I am currently applying to a Master's degree in English with the long-term goal to become an educator.

My main focus areas for tutoring are English (writing, grammar, syntax, literature), college application essays and other materials, study and presentation skills, and business skills.
