I truly enjoy the mentoring and coaching aspects of my work and that is the driving reason for providing tutoring to students. I have an excellent and well rounded mix of professional experience and educational foundation which allows me to bring context and examples to topics in order to help students fully understand the concepts being learned.

I initially received an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Texas Tech University and went to work for ExxonMobil as an applications developer and project manager. During my time with ExxonMobil, I had the opportunity to work in multiple business segments and began leading international projects which led me to working on projects in Africa (Chad and Cameroon). I then received a graduate degree from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and transitioned to a career in finance and manufacturing with Textron Inc. I served in multiple leadership roles within Textron's various business units which included banking and lending, leading a global manufacturing finance division, and serving as a Corporate Controller and Logistics Director. For the past five years, I have started a few different businesses with the primary entity being Black Hat Consulting Inc which provides strategic consulting services for marketing, finance, real estate clients.

I have been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2010.
