I am currently a medical student in Philadelphia, PA. I earned my Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science and my Master's degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Health Behavior.

I love helping to bring a student's ideas to life through writing. I enjoy working to understand the student's perspective and then bringing the ideas together on paper. I also love grammar and the detailed process of reviewing writing. I have been a writing tutor and copy editor. I have also written and published numerous blog posts and online articles. I currently run my own blog about women's soccer, and I am a coauthor on a book released in January 2021.

I began my teaching and tutoring experience working for Kumon, which is an after school math and reading program. I worked as a tutor for both math and reading education after completing the entire reading curriculum. I then volunteered as a high school math tutor in the West Philadelphia public school system where I worked with high schoolers in an after school program. Most recently, I have worked as a copy editor and writing editor for various bloggers and publishers.

I am from rural, central Illinois, which means there are many corn fields where I live. My family raises chickens for the fresh eggs and bees for the organic honey. I also love to play soccer. I played Division I soccer in college and currently play for a South American National Soccer Team. I also enjoy swimming, playing ping pong, trying new smoothie recipes, and spending time with my friends and family.
