I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, South America. I have taught Spanish to students in elementary, middle and high school for almost 30 years. I have also tutored young students and adults in private sessions. I received a Languages and Literature teaching degree at the University of Caldas, Colombia. In addition, I received a teaching license from Winston-Salem University in North Carolina. During my career I have taught students with different learning abilities at all levels of the Spanish language. I believe that education is the greatest gift we can give people. I am passionate about seeing students excel as they learn to use their second language. I believe that learning a language other than your own opens the doors to new opportunities and an amazing new world.
