I love working with students and have been an educator for over 25 years! I hold a doctorate, a master's degree, and a bachelor's degree in English and English education and have taught students from 9th grade through graduate school.
My areas of expertise include helping students with reading and interpreting literature, writing and expressing ideas clearly, and preparing for debates and speeches.
As an educator I prioritize who my students are and how they learn best. Understanding my students' strengths and areas of need informs my instructional approach and enables me to help them be successful.
When I am not teaching I enjoy learning! I particularly love taking classes in cooking, foreign language, and exercise.
