Hi, I'm Natalie! I have a Master's degree in English with a focus in Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacy. In my 3 years as an English writing and grammar tutor I have enjoyed working with people of all ages from diverse academic and personal backgrounds. Positivity and confidence are invaluable qualities for those wishing to hone their reading and writing skills. As a result, my tutoring style is optimistic, inquisitive, and engaging.

The "why" of English education is extremely important to me and I take care to provide an educational context where students feel comfortable and encouraged to ask about the reasons behind grammatical rules, syntactical differences, stylistic preferences, etc. Consistent, rational writing and tactful, reflective reading are the result of diligent, patient thought. Everyone is capable of reading and writing well!
