I am a graduate from Avon High School. I am currently working on my B.S. in AYA Integrated Mathematics Education at Bowling Green State University. I have five years experience of tutoring grades 5- 10. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, but I am most passionate about mathematics; I enjoy tutoring algebra and calculus.
I am passionate about working with students because I know first hand the struggles of school. I believe that learning should be both enjoyable and informative. My philosophy when it comes to tutoring is that I like to create a low-stress environment where students feel comfortable expressing their struggles and ask questions. I like to build trust with my students, so that they know when they work with me, it is a safe space for expression. Outside of tutoring and university, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, participating in extracurriculars, crafting, cycling, and reading.
