I'm an enthusiastic tutor on a mission to help students find their voice. Most of my tutoring background revolves around the humanities (writing, languages, history), and I've worked as a writing tutor for 4+ years. The students I work with are often brimming with great ideas they just need a little help on how to communicate them. That's where I come in!

While in school, I majored in History & Russian language at Dartmouth College, with a focus on 20th century US history and Russian relations. I have great fascination for history and relish any chance I get to share that passion with others- either in a tutoring session or in casual conversation (much to the chagrin of my friends and family). People call me a Russian history encyclopedia.

My sessions revolve around the student's goals. We start by clarifying what the student expects to accomplish, and then I structure our time based on their answer. Throughout the session, I continuously check in to make sure their needs are being met, and to make sure the student is still on the same page. If not, no sweat! I do my best to remain flexible to a range of learning styles, and if you ever feel confused about something, don't hesitate to ask a question.
