Adrina: Roanoke tutor

Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from the University of Central Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and ESOL. Since graduation, I have taught at an Elementary School in Orlando, Florida. The past few years, I have tutored Elementary aged students in Reading and Math. I have also taught abroad in Botswana, Africa and Haiti. I have additionally lead professional developments for teachers and school personnel.

In the fall, I will be returning to school to receive my Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University. I, too, once struggled in school and had to receive help from a tutor. I was truly thankful for my tutor and without her I would not be where I am. I want to do that for your child. I want to give them personalized instruction that differentiates and meets their learning needs. I believe each child has a unique way of learning and I promise to cater to your child's learning style.
