Hello and thank you for considering me as your tutor. To tell you a little bit of my background. I am a graduate of both SCSU and SHU. For my undergraduate I received a bachelors' of Arts in Spanish and for my graduate degree, I received a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I am very passionate about the teachings of my native language. The first language I learned as a child was Spanish but, not the Universal Spanish that I learned in college. Growing up was mainly learning from all of the family members that surrounded me when I lived in Puerto Rico which included; my grandmother, siblings, aunts, cousins and uncle. What great memories we made!! One of the reasons that I went into teaching is because I felt I had that calling. Growing up I had that desire even during the times I had played with my siblings. Teaching is an art and it is not meant for everyone. I take pride in the work that I do and I often give more than what I am expected to do. I enjoy making a difference in student's life because nothing makes me more happy than seeing them smile when they accomplish their goals. I often spend lots of time doing research. It is something that I enjoy doing very much. I love learning new things and always putting that new learning into practice.
