"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." This quote, by Benjamin Franklin, has played an influential role in my academic journey, from high school to college. I believe that the best way one can achieve their goals is through hard work and dedication to learning. My goal as a tutor is to motivate students to accomplish their learning goals and provide them with the skills, knowledge, and reinforcement to get there.

I am a current undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry, with a minor in biology. I have maintained a 3.92 college GPA, and I have made Dean's List every year. After college, I hope to attend medical school and become a doctor. I currently work as a student researcher at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, studying the cellular basis of pancreatic cancer and tumor progression.

I am passionate about both science and the humanities, and I hope to help students develop strong study skills and effective work strategies. I have experience tutoring students ranging from elementary school to college throughout my work as a peer tutor and member of the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project organization. As a tutor, I hope to help students strengthen their abilities in a variety of subjects, including MCAT, ACT, and SAT prep, chemistry, biology, mathematics, history, English, and writing.
