Hi I'm Tess! I'm a Mathematics major at UNC Charlotte with minors in Linguistics and Cognitive Science. I've been tutoring for 4 years now and have worked with students ranging from ages 10 to 50. My specialty is math, specifically Algebra and Trigonometry, as I have the most experience tutoring in these areas. I have experience as a teaching assistant for MATLAB and I'm also proficient in Java. No matter what subject I'm tutoring, one of my main goals with each student is to help them develop critical thinking and problem solving skills that they can apply to areas beyond what we go over in a tutoring session.
