Certified Tutor

Walt Disney once said, "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." I am the first in my family to pursue higher education and graduate from a junior college and, subsequently, a four-year university. My commencement ceremony at Santa Ana College was very inspirational, and it gave me additional motivation to keep striving for academic excellence. I want to become a life-long learner because I want to be able to contribute to my community in a positive way. Knowledge is key to success, and it grants power to whoever possesses it. My character development and integrity are the results of my passion for being successful in and outside the classroom. (Oh My Disney, 2018)

As a result of my love for learning, I have graduated from Santa Ana College with A.S. degrees in Business Administration and Economics and became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Also, I received the Rudy Haley International Business scholarship from the Schools First Federal Credit Union for my academic achievement. Currently, at Cal State Fullerton, I am a member of the Phi Beta Delta International Business Honor Society because of my desire to excel in the classroom and become a keen business student at the Mihaylo College of Business of Economics. I strive to be an honor student, so I can set the foundation for my family academically, and be a positive role model for my daughter Riley. Going to school for me is therapeutic, and I appreciate all the knowledge that I acquire while I am in class. I had to fail before I was able to succeed, and I look forward to failing so I can be successful in the future. I take my education very seriously, and it is a top priority in my life right now, along with being a parent to my daughter.

My pursuit of academic excellence has to do with my dedication to improving myself every day. I am inspired by the vast and endless knowledge that is readily available to anyone who wants to acquire it. Learning makes me feel empowered and that I can prosper in any environment. By utilizing my character, beliefs, and integrity, I will stand firm against any obstacle that is in front of me. The feeling of accomplishment and knowing that I am setting the foundation for my family is vital as well. I feel that I always want to be enrolled in school and be affiliated with positive people.
