Good Afternoon,

My name is Patrick Nsimba and I am excited to be part of the Varsity Tutors team. I am Swiss born Angolan/Congolese American. I arrived in this country at the age of 4 and I grew up in New York city. In addition, French is my first language and I was enrolled at Lyceum Kennedy (French private school) since the second grade. I am thankful my parents made this decision since I can still read, write and speak French with ease.

In addition, I was curious to learn another language once I attended university. I noticed Spanish was becoming a popular (and increasingly important ) language in the US therefore I chose it as my minor. Moreover, even when I wasn't in class, I would always practice the language with my Spanish speaking friends.

In conclusion, I am delighted to assist students whom need help learning ( and improving) their skills in the aforementioned Latin languages. I have been with Varsity Tutors for more than a year now, and I like to have a relaxed approach to the study plan. One part of the session is conversational, I'll encourage you with the pronunciation. In the remaining part of the class, I like to do conjugation and grammatical review (I'm very fond of the Bescherelles book series for the French language)

I remain an advocate for being multilingual and exploring different cultures. I thank you again for the opportunity and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
