My mission is to help hardworking students achieve their maximum potential in mastering a new language. My interest in the Spanish language increased during my junior high Spanish class when my instructor introduced me to Spanish poetry. It was authors like Gabriel Garcia Marquez that increased my interest in Spanish literature. For the past five years, I have been working as a teacher assistant in the state of Texas helping Spanish speaking students learn their primary language and acquiring English as their second language. Last year, I received my associate degrees on General education and Fine arts. I am currently a student in the Spanish Department at Texas State University. My professional goal is to become a Spanish teacher and empower my students to achieve what sometimes feels unattainable but with the right attitude, tools and skills within their reach can turn into an achievable goal. During my free time, I enjoyed running, practicing yoga and spending time with my family.
