Certified Tutor

I am a practicing painter living and working in Brooklyn. New York. In 2008 I graduated with a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, and received an MFA from New York Studio School in 2011. In 2014 I received a Fulbright Fellowship to Leipzig, Germany, where I lived and painted until earlier this year. I teach art in a college setting as well as at several art centers in the New York area, to students ranging in age and skill level, in a variety of media and techniques.

In addition to art, I taught ESL to adults in Germany for three years. I have experience teaching business and standard English to adults in groups as well as one on one lessons. I design my lessons to fit the students unique needs and interests, and hope to make classes engaging and communicative.
