I am a recent college graduate from Florida International University, with a bachelors degree of mechanical engineering. Born and raised in Miami, I love the culture and the people, and I want to give back to my community. I feel the best way I can do so is teaching and to make the STEM fields seem approachable, maybe even fun. When I was younger I did not have many opportunities to get involved in the science or math fields, so my love was developed as an adult. I was the outreach coordinator in the club I was in, Florida engineering society (FES). There I would go at least 3 times a week to local schools and after school programs, to spark interest to the stem fields. I enjoy engineering, and I want the next generation to enjoy it too because it is fun!!!
